This innovative project will enable teachers to assess themselves and gain an overview of their competences and an indication of their training needs. The Grid will also be useful for trainers and managers to help support teachers’ professional development and optimise the management of teaching staff within their organisation.

The EPG project, co-funded by the EU Commission through the Lifelong Learning Programme (LLP), is being developed by 11 European partners led by The Centre International d’Études Pédagogiques and including the British Council, EAQUALS, Goethe Institut, Instituto Cervantes and OPTIMA. The project will run until October 2013.
