Champion teachers Mexico: stories of exploratory action research

This book presents nine stories of exploratory action research by teachers in Mexico.

The Champion Teachers Programme is an exciting initiative by the British Council to help teachers improve their skills through continuing professional development in the area of research. The aim of the programme is to promote specific research skills to be able to understand the students’ academic needs, identify solutions and implement change supported by informed decisions.

This book presents stories of exploratory action research that are the result of the work teachers  have done within the Champion Teachers Programme in public schools across Mexico.

You can read about their exploration of skills, classroom management, motivation and much more. These accounts are useful examples of the school context in Mexico, the situations teachers live daily and how they find the best way to face them.
