British Council teacher survey for English language teachers in the Middle East and North Africa

The British Council invites English language teachers from the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) to participate in a survey which aims to better understand the digital behaviour of English language teachers in MENA. The survey will be conducted in the week of 16th March and there will be one week to complete it.

What is it all about?

The British Council is interested in knowing more about the online behaviour of English teachers.

How do teachers benefit?
The survey offers our valued partner teachers a forum to voice their preferences, concerns, and suggestions and help us in the development of relevant content and teaching resources.

How long will the survey take?

The survey will take 15 minutes and you can also opt to participate in a 45-minute in-depth face to face interview.

What if I cannot participate later after expressing interest now?
That is OK.

Who is conducting the survey?

Our research partners, IPSOS are conducting the survey and they will contact teachers on behalf of the British Council in March when the survey starts.

Will my responses be confidential?
Your responses will NEVER be individually analyzed. Data at all points of time will be analyzed at a collective level with a minimum reporting group of 6 respondents.

Will my contact details remain confidential?
Your contact details will be kept totally secret. All data collection, analysis and reporting will be done in line with strict ESOMAR guidelines which govern all matters of market research. For further reading, please refer to
